Term 4

Wow! Where has the term gone! Only 4 more weeks until the Summer holidays! This term we have enjoyed learning about different parables in the Bible and recreated some of them using different drama techniques. We then used the i-Pad to create an iMovie! Keep a look out for these soon!
We have also been taking part in tennis lessons from our tennis coach every Monday! We have really enjoyed learning a variety of skills needed to be the next Andy Murray!
As well as this we have been getting our 'Game On' by learning about the Commonwealth games. So far we have learned about the history of the Commonwealth and the 54 Nations that are a part of it. We created our own bunting for our classroom. This will help us remember all the countries in the commonwealth. We have also been consolidating our athletics skills this term. Every Tuesday Miss Lochhead and room 8 jog 0.25 miles around the school playground. We do this each week to build our stamina and track our progress over the weeks. We have also been involved in developing our sprinting, jumping and throwing skills. Soon we are going to create our own games for Room 9 to take part in and vice versa. This is going to be so exciting. Keep posted on the blog for more updates on Term 4!
