End of term reward

To reward excellent behaviour, all of us got to take part in the Gladigator as our end of term reward! We had lots of fun playing and singing along to the music!

P4 Power Point Presentations

P4 were set a special challenge during our Romans topic to create a Power Point with their partner. They had to research their chosen topic and then create their Power Point including images and text. The second part of the challenge was to teach the P3's about their topic and design and lead a quiz at the end. The children had to plan this carefully and decide how the P3's would answer, how they would reward correct answers and how they would pick people to answer. Some of the children chose to use Lolly sticks whilst others used the number picker. The P3's loved listening and joining in with the lessons and P4 did a marvellous job. Thinking skills

P4 were practising their thinking skills by creating colourful mind maps.

Motherwell Heritage Centre

Today we went on an amazing day out to Motherwell Heritage Centre with Room 11. In the morning we made fantastic Roman swords and shields which made us look like real soldiers!

In the afternoon we took part in a workshop where we looked at artefacts, tried on togas and armour and held Roman weapons!

We had a fab day and it made a great end to our Romans topic! Check out our pictures below!
