Technology

Mrs Sloan set us a challenge to create 3D pond creatures. Some of them got sent away to a competition! Check them out- they are amazing!

ICT Suite

Room 10 have been practising their research and ICT skills. We were set a challenge by Sammy the Snail to research our favourite pond animal and post him our findings on the blog. Scroll down to find him and look at our research.

Radio Adverts

Last week room 10 were set a co-op challenge to write and record a radio advert for the Christmas Concert. The children worked very hard at taking turns and also using their knowledge of persuasive language to create exciting adverts. When they were finished the groups recorded the adverts on the laptop using a microphone to allow them to self asses the adverts.

Hibernation Haven

We had a visit from Starling Learning to teach us all about hibernation and animals. We worked co-operatively together to build a hibernation haven for hedgehogs over the winter months! We had great fun making it and learnt lots of new facts about animal life! We even learned how to make a bird feeder! We hope that this will help increase the biodiversity in our playground!
