Term 4

As always another very busy term for us ! When we came bck to school after the Easter Holidays we were practising for our class Assembly. On Friday 8th May we performed our Assembly to the whole school and our Mums and Dads. It was on the Widow's Mite and The Prodigal Son! We received great feedback from our two stars and a wish sheet and Mrs Irving was also very proud of us. We were all confident and spoke our lines with loud clear voices. Our Science topic this term is electricity and we were very lucky that we went on a trip with room 10 to the Science Centre on Monday 11th May. This was so much fun and we loved experimenting with all the different activities at the Science Centre. We were very fortunate that we were able to take part in a workshop called Car-azy Circuits, this was in the lab. In our pairs we chose either an empty plastic bottle or a box, these were different shapes and sizes and this was to be the chassis of our car. We then put on the wheels and fitted a battery and a propellor and then we had races to see which cars would go the fastest. This was great fun as well as being of great use to us in our Electricity topic. In P.E we have been taking part in tennis and we are enjoying this. We are learning our forehand shot and working well with our partners! Wimbledon here we come!! Primary 3/4 and Mrs Irving
