Term 3

Primary 3 / 4 have already had a very busy start to the New Year! We have been learning about soluble, insoluble and which items dissolve in water. As part of our homework we have also been carrying out experiments, this was been great fun! During some of our P.E lessons we have been learning some Scottish Dancing, this has been exciting and Mrs Irving is very proud of us, she is impressed at how responsible and mature we are at our dancing! So far we have been working on The Gay Gordons, Dashing White Sergeant, the Military Two Step and Canadian Barn Dance and we have also been very successful at dancing the Canadian Barn Dance - Progressive. We have just been introduced to our new topic for this term and we are so excited it is going to be the .......Romans! We have created our Learning Plan with room 10 and we have decided what information we would like to find out about! Some of the facts we have learnt about is why The Romans invaded Britain and what Legacies the Romans left behind! We have much more to find out about and are looking forward to this topic and showing all our hard work at our Open Night! World of Work week was great and it was very interesting to have visits from different people telling us about the various aspects of their jobs. We will post some photographs soon!
