Welcome to P3/4

Welcome back to new school year and Primary 3/4! Room 10 have had a relaxing holiday and are looking forward to learning lots of new things. As a lot of us came from different classes and schools, the first week in P3/4 was spent getting to know each other in lots of different ways. Miss Lochhead asked the class to prepare a presentation about our likes and interests and present this to the class with confidence. Everyone did this very well and we learnt lots of new things about our classmates and teacher!
Our language class has also been revising nouns, verbs and adjectives and did well in the time challenge Miss Lochhead set the class!
We have been learning about estimating and measuring in Numeracy and worked in our co-operative groups to measure our heads, height, hands and feet. At the end of the year we will do this again to see how much we have grown during P3/4! We have put this into our very own Time Capsule.
We have been enjoying active learning whilst revising how to tell the time. We loved playing 'Stop the Clock' and 'What's the Time Mr Wolf?'.
Our first topic this year was Rama and Sita which we all enjoyed listening to and retelling. We worked together to order the events in the story and to prepare and perform a drama in our co-op groups. Most of us had all green traffic lights when peer assessing our performances. Keep up to date with P3/4 by looking here on a regular basis.
